Make It Happen! Stéphane Matteau, Hockey Star & Activist

Professional hockey player Stéphane Matteau always felt confident on the ice and achieved fame for scoring a winning goal that helped the New York Rangers win the Stanley Cup. However, throughout his life Stéphane suffered from great anxieties and fears. He was even bullied and taunted by others despite his great strength and amazing athleticism.

After his successful career as a hockey player, Stéphane struggled to be happy. Soon, he decided that he would be happiest by helping others overcome their own anxieties and fears.

Today, Stéphane works to inspire kids who have anxiety or depression or have been bullied like he was. To do this, he travels around the world mentoring and teaching kids to overcome their fears to score their own goals in life.
