Patti Newman

Patti draws inspiration for her stories from real-world problems, big and small. Her presentations empower children to believe in themselves through explorations of topics, including the environment, girl empowerment, global citizenship, and social justice. Her recent book, Neema’s Reason to Smile, features a young girl in Kenya who developed a plan to pay for her schooling. It is a Parent’s Choice Foundation Recommended Picture Book.
